When there is a complaint in the situation like this, it is very important not to be emotional in dealing with the problem. First of all, after letting the parent to calm down, I would find out what the complaint is all about. After analyzing the situation and understanding it, I will have some time to consult with the students who are related to the situation. At this time, Ill try to be a good listener in order to fully understand the students feelings and thoughts without any prejudice. Then, I will discuss how to instruct the students with the parents and other teachers. With the proper instruction, Ill try to build up rapport with the student through a lot of interaction and consultation. Also, it is important to notify the result of the instruction to the parents and school. In addition, During the process, I want to have some time to think over whether I am doing my best as a good teacher.
